Key competences and plurilingual education in the Valencian Region (Spain) : a curricular analysis of Primary Education

The purpose of this work is to study the level of transversality of key competences in Primary Education in the Valencian Community. To this end, an analysis of the Decree 108/2014 cur-rently in effect will be carried out, along with determining the frequency with which each competence is worked on during this stage of education. The data obtained will be interpreted bearing in mind plurilingual programs and, more specifically, the basis of the methodological needs that are pursued in CLIL, the approach to teaching non-linguistic areas through a foreign language. Do school resources increase school quality ?

The aim of this paper is to verify whether school resource factors have an impact on the quality of education. This latter is measured with the help of a unique database on student scores in international skills tests. The general difficulties inherent in this type of study are the possibility of endogeneity bias and measurement errors. After estimation bias correction, we show that improvement in the quality of educational systems does not necessarily require an increase in school resources. Partiendo del análisis de las deficiencias detectadas en la Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad actual, este artículo realiza un análisis de los factores incidentales externos al examen, propone un sistema moderno de evaluación de lenguas como la evaluación dinámica, y estudia las ventajas y desventajas de su aplicación a la Prueba Final de Bachillerato. Las propuestas aquí realizadas se relacionan con el proyecto OPENPAU (FFI2011-22442) de un consorcio de 8 universidades para la revisión de la Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad.
